CLASS M.-SHEEP.
Sheep conveyed in two-floor trucks will be charged at one and a half the rates
charged for a single-floor truck.

CLASS P.-NATIVE COAL.
Coal from the Waikato and Maramarua pits consigned to Auckland, Onehunga,
and intermediate stations will be charged as follows:--
From Huntly, or from Taupiri Mountain Siding, for all distances over 40 miles,
6s. 6d. per ton.
From Meremere Siding, for all distances over 27 miles, 4s. 8d. per ton.

DEMURRAGE ON COAL TRUCKS.
A charge for demurrage on trucks employed in the conveyance of coals for ship-
ment at Onehunga and Auckland will be made as follows, viz.:--After 6 working
hours from arrival, 5s. per truck, and after 8 working hours, the ordinary charge of
Β£1 per day; or the coal will be unloaded and stored at the usual rates for unloading
and storage, at the option of the Department.

RAILWAY WHARF, AUCKLAND.
Haulage upon all descriptions of merchandize, timber, minerals, or live
stock, at per wagon (native coal free) ... s. d.

WELLINGTON SECTION.
SAND AND GRAVEL.
Sand and gravel from Lower Hutt and Petone to Wellington
will be charged ... 1s. 6d. per ton.

MILEAGE.
For the purpose of charging for the conveyance of passengers, and all goods and
parcels, carried over the Rimutaka Incline, the mileage of such Incline will be deemed
to be five miles more than its actual mileage.

GREYMOUTH SECTION.
PASSENGER RATES.
Greymouth to and from Brunnerton, second class ... s. d.

SHIPS' GOODS.
Ships' goods of Classes A, B, C, and D, will be charged as Class A. Tonnage
according to ship's bill of lading.

GREY GORGE BRIDGE.
For cattle and horses ... ... ... ... s. d. 1 0 per head.
For goods ... ... ... ... 1 6 per ton.
Minimum, 6d.

WESTPORT SECTION.
PASSENGER RATES.
Westport to and from Waimangaroa, second class ... ... s. d.

NELSON SECTION.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D between the Port and Nelson will be charged as Class
D. Ships' goods will be charged according to bill of lading, or by weight, or
measurement, at the option of the Department; other goods by weight or
measurement, as the Department directs.
