Conditions.

No person can select more than one section.
Deposit of one-twentieth of the price of the land
to be tendered with application.
Payments: Twenty equal instalments, payable one
each on the 1st January and the 1st July of each
year for ten years.
Improvements: Selector must bring into cultiva-
tion not less than one-twentieth of area the first
year, one-tenth the second year, and within six years
must have cultivated one-fifth, and effected perma-
ment improvements to the value of £1 for every acre.
The selector has the option, at any time after the
first three years, of discharging all his obligations
by paying up the balance of the purchase-money
in one payment, provided he has effected the im-
provements.
Residence on the land by the selector is compulsory
for a period of six years from the issue of license.

I HEREBY notify that the lands enumerated in
the Schedule hereunder will be open for applica-
tion at this office on Tuesday, the 14th day of Sep-
tember next.

The lands enumerated above shall be sold for cash
immediately on purchase.
The prices stated in the Schedule shall be the
prices at which the lands shall be open for applica-
tion.
No person shall be allowed to acquire more than
one section.
N.B.—The above lands are adjoining the Tuakau
Railway Station.

Gold-Mining Leases cancelled.

Mines Department,
Wellington, 4th September, 1880.
I is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Governor has been pleased to pronounce the
under-mentioned gold-mining leases cancelled, and
that the ground is now open for application as if no
leases of the said land had ever been applied for:—
James Phelan and others; 5 acres 2 roods 11
perches, District of Nelson Creek, Grey. No. 855.
Patrick Sherlock; 6 acres, District of Grey Valley,
Nelson South-West Gold Fields. No. 860.

Notice relating to Delivery of Crown Grants.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 6th September, 1880.
ALL applications for Crown grants for land
purchased prior to the passing of the Land
Transfer Act in the Wellington Land District will
after this date require to be made at the office of the
Registrar of Deeds, Wellington, who will deliver
the same and receive the fees.
