Description. The township is situated on the
Napier-Manawatu Railway-line, opposite the station-
house at Ormondville. It is connected by a metalled
road with the coach route between the East and West
Coasts. The surrounding country has been taken up
on the deferred-payment system. Ormondville is the
outlet of 8,000 acres of occupied lands and 5,000
acres of Crown lands. The census for 1878 gives a
population of 718 people for the Ormondville and
Norsewood Districts.

The Crown lands in the locality will be placed in
the market at an early date.

NOTE.-Plans may be seen, and further particu-
lars of the land obtained, on application at this
office.

Terms of Sale: One-fourth of the purchase-money
to be paid at time of sale, and the balance, with Crown-
grant fees, within one month thereafter.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

N OTICE is hereby given that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
in each case on or before the 15th day of Septem-
ber next.

DAVID BOOSIE CRUIKSHANK and LEVI
WOODWORTH EATON.-Lots 114 and 115 of
the subdivision of Allotment 5 of Section 7 of the
Suburbs of Auckland, containing 16 perches. Un-
occupied. 1590.

EDWIN HESKETH.-Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12 of
Section 5 of the subdivision of Allotments 11, 12,

13, 23, and part of Allotment 10 of Section 11 of the
Suburbs of Auckland; also Lots 7, 8, and 9 of Sec-
tion 7 of the aforesaid subdivision and suburbs, con-
taining 1 acre and 32 perches. In Applicant's occu-
pation. 1591.

book, Vol. xli., folio 190, is hereby offered for sale;
and, further, that, unless within one calendar month
from the date of the Gazette containing this notice a
sufficient amount shall have been realized by the sale
of the said land to satisfy the principal and interest
moneys due on a certain memorandum of mortgage,
