MARIE FIEURGANT, of Dunedin, Stonemason,
has deposited at this office a specification of the said
invention; and I have appointed Friday, the 26th
day of November next, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon,
at this office, to hear the said application and all
objections thereto; and I require all persons having
an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters
Patent to leave, on or before the 22nd day of Novem-
ber next, at this office, particulars in writing of their
objections to the said application, otherwise they will
be precluded from urging the same.

ROBERT REID and JAMES GRAY, of Dunedin, New
Zealand, Engineers, trading under the style or firm
of "Reid and Gray," have deposited at this office a
specification of the said invention; and I have ap-
pointed Friday, the 26th day of November next, at

PIGEON BAY ROAD BOARD DISTRICT.
Notice under "The Public Works Act, 1876."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Pigeon Bay
Road Board intend to take certain lands here-
inafter described for the purpose of constructing
roads; and all persons affected are requested to set
forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such lands, and to send such writing within
forty days from the date of publication hereof to the
Pigeon Bay Road Board.

Plans of the said lands are open for inspection at
the office of the Pigeon Bay Road Board.

Description of the said lands: All that piece of
land situated in the Pigeon Bay District, Banks
Peninsula, containing by admeasurement 30 acres,
more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 169, 167,
4902, 11296, 510, 508, 4901, 14405, and 168; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plans,
and tinted pink, burnt sienna, and green.

Dated at Pigeon Bay, this 22nd day of July, 1880.

HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand at the suit of the CREDITORS' TRUSTEE
in BANKRUPTCY of the property of WILLIAM ROBIN-
SON and BERIA ROBINSON, late of Dunsandel, Store-
keepers, Plaintiff, of Christchurch, in the Canterbury
District, I have taken in execution the fee-simple of
Beria Robinson, late of Riccarton, deceased, Labourer,
in all that parcel of land, containing by admeasure-
ment 2 acres, more or less, situate in the Christ-
church District of the said Province of Canterbury,
and being that part of the Rural Section numbered
145 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the said
province, setting out and describing the rural land in
the said district, now in the occupation of James
Robinson, of Addington; and that I intend to cause
the same to be sold at the office of H. Matson and
Co., at Christchurch aforesaid, on Saturday, the
twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand eight
