SCHEDULE.
ALL that strip or belt of land in the Southland divi-
sion of the Provincial District of Otago, containing
28 acres, more or less, hitherto known on the maps
of the Survey Department as a dotted track or road-
line, 1 chain wide, running through Sections 41, 42, 43,
44, 45, 9, 24, 22, 8, 7, 6, and 5, Block V., Invercargill
Hundred, and extending from the north-eastern
angle of said Section 41 in a continuous line and in
a generally southerly direction through the sections
aforesaid to the Waihopai Stream; save and except-
ing those portions of surveyed Government road-
lines which are covered by the dotted track in
question.
Also all that strip or belt of land containing 15
acres and 17 poles, more or less, hitherto known on
the maps above referred to as a dotted track or road-
line, 1 chain wide, running through Sections 33, 32,
30, and 45 of said block, extending from near the
south-eastern angle of said Section 33 in a south-
westerly direction till it joins the dotted track first
mentioned, near the southern boundary of said
Section 45; save and excepting that part covered by
surveyed Government road-line.
Also all that strip or belt of land containing 12
Sections 21, 20, and 22 of said block, hitherto known
on the maps of the Survey Department as a dotted
track or road-line, and extending from near the
south-eastern angle of said Section 21 in a south-
westerly direction till it joins the track first men-
tioned, near the western boundary of said Section 22;
save and excepting that part covered by surveyed
Government road-line.
Also all that strip or belt of land containing 8
acres 3 roods and 16 poles, more or less, running
through Sections 19, 17, and 16 of said block, hitherto
known on the maps of the Survey Department as a
dotted track or road-line, and extending from near
the south-eastern angle of said Section 19 in a south-
westerly direction till it joins a Government road-
line forming the south-east boundary of said Sec-
tion 16.
Also all that strip or belt of land containing 2
acres and 32 poles, more or less, hitherto known on
the maps of the Survey Department as a dotted
track, running from the north-eastern angle of
Section 5 of said block till it meets the dotted track
firstly described.
All that strip or belt of land in the Southland
division of the Provincial District of Otago, contain-
ing by admeasurement 29 acres and 15 poles, more
or less, hitherto known on the maps of the Survey
Department as a dotted track or road-line, 1 chain
wide, running through Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 43, 7,
8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block VI., Invercargill Hundred,
and extending from a point 1800 links due north of
the south-western angle of said Section 1; thence in
a generally north-easterly direction through said
Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 43, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 to
the north-eastern angle of said Section 12: save and
excepting those portions of dotted track covered by
existing surveyed road-lines.
Also all that piece of dotted road containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods and 12 poles, more or
less, commencing at a point 3600 links due north of
the south-western angle of said Section 1 of same
block and hundred, and running in a south-easterly
direction through said Sections 1 and 2 till it strikes
the dotted track above described.
All that strip or belt of land in the Southland
division of the Provincial District of Otago, contain-
ing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood and 28 poles,
more or less, hitherto known on the maps of the
Survey Department as a dotted track or road-line,
1 chain wide, running through Sections 20, 21, 22,
23, 16, 17, 18, and 19, Block VI., Invercargill Hun-
dred, and extending from a point on the western
boundary of said Section 20, 1810 links distant from
the south-western angle of said section; thence in an
easterly direction through said Sections 20, 21, 22,
23, 16, and 17; and thereafter in a north-easterly
direction through said Sections 18 and 19 to the
north-eastern angle of said Section 19: save and
excepting that portion of dotted track covered by
existing surveyed road-line.
All the above parcels of land being delineated upon
the maps attached to the memorial before referred to.

Vesting Reserves.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-seventh day of July, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto were reserved for public purposes and
for a site for a railway station:
And whereas by an Order in Council bearing date
the fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-nine, the purposes of Reserves numbers
seven hundred and forty-five, seven hundred and
forty-six, and seven hundred and forty-seven were
changed from public purposes to municipal purposes,
and, by a warrant under the hand of the Governor,
dated the fifth day of June, the purpose of Reserve
numbered seven hundred and fifty-one was changed
from a site for a railway station to municipal pur-
poses:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is
expedient to vest the said land in the Corporation
of the Borough of Timaru:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare that,
from and after the day of the date hereof, the said
reserves shall become vested in the Mayor, Council-
lors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Timaru.
