29th January to be a Bank Holiday throughout the
Provincial District of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and
authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Her-
cules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, by an Order in Council made under the
provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act, 1873," and
bearing even date herewith, I have declared that
Thursday, the twenty-ninth day of January instant,
shall be a bank holiday throughout the Provincial
District of Auckland, under and for the purposes
of the said Act.
Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
twentieth day of January, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty.

Monday, the 2nd day of February next, shall be a
bank holiday throughout the Provincial District of
Nelson, under and for the purposes of the said Act.
