Point, Lake County, under "The Otago Cemeteries
Management Ordinance, 1870," vice A. Sorenson,
resigned.

Inspector of Weights and Measures, Tuapeka, appointed.

to be an Inspector of Weights and Measures for the
District of Tuapeka, vice Sergeant James Burten-
shaw, resigned.

Dog Registrar appointed, Borough of Roslyn.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint
SAMUEL GREEN
to be a Registrar of Dogs under "The Otago Dog
Nuisance Ordinance, 1862," within the Borough of
Roslyn, and also to appoint the residence of the said
Samuel Green, in Bruce Street, Roslyn, to be the
place where the fees for registration shall be paid.

appoint Wednesday, the 2nd June next, at
three o'clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and
the office of the Manchester Highway Board, Feild-
ing, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the
Manchester Highway Board shall be held.

"The Resident Magistrates Act, 1867," "The Native
Circuit Courts Act, 1858," and "The Native Circuit
Courts Act Amendment Act, 1862," within the Dis-
trict of Auckland.

of the provisions of section 40 of "The Har-
bours Act, 1878," been pleased to appoint

to be a Member of the Otago Harbour Board, in place
of Henry Houghton, Esq., resigned; and to appoint
THOMAS TANNER, Esq.,
to be a Member of the Napier Harbour Board, in
place of Alfred Newman, Esq., resigned.

to be a Receiver of Gold Revenue and Mining Regis-
trar for the Hauraki Gold-Mining District, as from
the 1st June, 1880, vice Albert James Allom, Esq.,
resigned.
