NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

NOTICE.
Native Land Court Office,
Auckland, May 6, 1880.

WHEREAS at a sitting of the Native Land Court holden at Tauranga on the 3rd day of January, 1871,
a block of land called Pukaingataru, was by order of T. H. Smith, Esquire, the then presiding Judge,
awarded to the Tapuika and Ngatimoko tribes, who were themselves to nominate to the Court the names of
the persons to be inserted in the Certificate of Title as owners of the said block:
Notice is hereby given that the Court at its sitting to be held at Maketu, on the 1st day of June next,
will then and there receive from the said Tapuika and Ngatimoko tribes the names of the persons nominated
by the said tribes to be inserted in the Certificate of Title, and to be declared by the Court the owners of
the said land.

NOTEMEA i tetahi Kooti i tu nei ki Tauranga, i te 3 o ngara o Hanuere, 1871, i whakataua e Te Mete,
Kaiwhakawa o taua Kooti, tetahi piihi whenua ko Pukaingataru te ingoa, ki etahi iwi e rua, ki Tapuika
raua ko Ngatimoko, a i ki hoki ia ma ana iwi e rua e homai ki te Kooti nga ingoa o nga tangata mo te
Tiwhiketi o taua whenua:
Na, he Panuitanga tenei kia mohiotia ai ko a te tuunga o te Kooti Whenua Maori, ka tu nei ki Maketu
a te 1 o nga ra o Hune, 1880, e pai ana ma aua hapu e rua, ara ma Tapuika raua ko Ngatimoko, e homai ki
te Kooti nga ingoa o nga tangata mo te Tiwhiketi o taua whenua, a ma te Kooti e whakatau ko nga
tangata tuturu ena mo taua piihi whenua.

Notice under the Native Land Acts, 1873-74, of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.
NOTICE is hereby given that at the Court fixed to be holden at Matata, Bay of Plenty, on the 9th day
of June 1880, the claims on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names
are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land of which
the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the
Schedule hereunder, will be investigated.
