NOTICE.
Native Land Court Office,
Auckland, January 14th 1880.
WHEREAS it is enacted by "The Native Lands Act, 1873," that upon a request being made in that
behalf by the Land Claims Commissioner for the time being under "The Land Claims Settlement
Acts 1856 and 1858," to any Judge of the Court in any district established under the first-named Act, and
such Judge shall proceed as soon as conveniently may be in and towards the investigation and settlement
of such claims:
And whereas Charles Heaphy, Esquire, V.C., has requested me to investigate and settle the claim of
Thomas Craig, to a piece of land on the eastern and southern sides of the Waihou River, being known by
the name of part of Opukeko, in the District of the Thames, and Provincial District of Auckland, con-
taining 603 acres 3 roods more or less, derived by conveyance from Lachlan Allan McCoskill, the boundaries
of which are shown on the map of that land:
Now, therefore, I, Francis Dart Fenton, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, do hereby give notice
that a Court will be holden at Shortland, on the 10th day of February, 1880, commencing at ten of the
clock in the forenoon, for the purpose aforesaid.

McCaskill. Ko nga rohe kei te mapi o taua whenua e mau ana.
Na, he panuitanga tenei naku, na Te Penetana, na te Tumuaki Kaiwhakawa o te Kooti Whenua Maori,
kia mohiotia ai ka tu te Kooti Whenua Maori ki Hotereni Taone, a te 14 o nga ra o Pepuere, 1880,
timata i te tekau o nga haora o te ata, hei whakawa i taua tono.
