Plymouth, in the Provincial District of Taranaki.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point situate in Section No. 61 on
the record plan of the Suburbs of Carlyle, and pro-
ceeding thence in a generally southerly direction for
a distance of 2 miles 78 chains or thereabouts, and
passing in, into, through, or over the following lands,
&c.: Sections Nos. 61, 1, 76, 2, 7, 75, 3, 4, 51, 9,
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and Government Reserve; Carlyle
Extension Township, sections lying to the west of
Portland Quay, in the said township, numbered
respectively 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77,
106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114; and
terminating at a point in Section No. 115, all within
the Carlyle Survey District, Patea County, Provincial
District of Taranaki, Colony of New Zealand; and
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands,
roads, reserves, streams, rivers, and watercourses; in
the manner delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
7644, signed by the Honorable John Hall, Minister
acting for the Minister for Public Works, and
deposited in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme
Court at New Plymouth, in the Provincial District
of Taranaki; the total length being 2 miles 78 chains
or thereabouts.

Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
twentieth day of April, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Otago.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The
Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from
time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural
lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall
think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred
payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day
on which the land shall be open for application; and
that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on
deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may
be recommended by any Land Board, and may also
from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on
deferred payments; and that Thursday, the twenty-
seventh day of May, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty, shall be the day on which the said land shall
be open for application at the Land Office at Dun-
edin, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the
selection map in that office.

And, further, in pursuance of the fifth section of
"The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do
hereby fix the price at which the land so described
shall be sold to be the price set opposite each allot-
ment in the Schedule hereto.

of Otago.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby
temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Pro-
vincial District of Otago described in the Schedule
hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Southland Division of
the Provincial District of Otago, containing by ad-
measurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section
numbered 6, Block XI., Longwood Survey District.
Bounded towards the North-east by Crown lands,
667 links; towards the South-east by Sections 1A and
2A, 1500 links; towards the South-west by a road-
line, 667 links; towards the North-west by Crown
lands, 1500 links; as the same is more particularly
