Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

N conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that
it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Collingwood on or
before the 20th day of May, 1880.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Collingwood.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: John Norby and William Kelly. Style
under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Pounamu Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres, at
Gridiron Creek, Mount Arthur, in the Nelson South-
West Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, this
third day of April, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty.
