DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership existing between the undersigned,
carrying on business in Dunedin as Merchants
and Commission Agents, under the style of "Renshaw,
Denniston, and Co.," is this day dissolved by mutual
consent.

Mr. G. L. Denniston will continue the business
under the style of "Denniston and Co.," and will
receive and pay the debts of the late firm.

MEDICAL PRACTITIONER'S REGISTRATION.

I, W. R. DAVIES, of Christchurch, Licentiate of
the King and Queen's College of Physicians,
Ireland, hereby give notice that I have this day
deposited my diploma with the Registrar of the
Christchurch District, and that I intend to apply to
be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act,
in one month from date hereof.

IN THE MATTER OF "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT,
1876," AND OF "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1879."

NOTICE is hereby given that the lands of which
a general description is hereinafter given are
required by the Road Board of the Levels District
for the purpose of constructing certain public works
namely, Roads; and that all persons affected by such
requirement are requested to set forth in writing any
well-grounded objection to the execution of such
works or to the taking of such lands, and to send
such writing within forty days from the date of the
first publication hereof to the Levels Road Board,
Timaru. And notice is further given that the plan
of the said land and works is open for inspection at
the office of the said Board at Timaru, where it is
deposited in pursuance of the special direction given
by the Minister for Public Works under the authority
of the said last-mentioned Act, and the following are
descriptions of the lands referred to:—

  1. All that piece of land being part of Reserve
    No. 1202, in the Timaru District, containing three
    acres one rood and twenty-one and one-tenth perches,
    more or less, commencing at the south-west corner
    of said Reserve No. 1202 on the road separating
    Reserves Nos. 1201 and 1202, and running in a
    south-easterly direction, one chain in width, along
    the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section No.
    15481, bearing 119° 42', and distant 3405.4 links to
    the boundary of Rural Section No. 3753.

  2. All that piece of land being part of Rural
    Section No. 3753, Timaru District, containing one
    acre one rood and thirty-six and three-tenths perches,
    more or less, commencing at a point on the north-
    western boundary of Rural Section No. 3753, bearing
    29° 42', and distant one chain from the north-east
    corner of Rural Section No. 15481, and running in a
    south-westerly direction along the western boundary
    of said Section No. 3753, one chain in width, to meet
    a road running from the Main South Road through
    a portion of Rural Section No. 3753, bearing 209° 42',
    distance 1120.8 links.

The lands here described are coloured pink on the
said plan.

EARP V. PARKES.

I HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court at
the suit of WILLIAM EARP, of Porirua, Farmer, I
have taken in execution the leasehold interest of
SAMUEL PARKES, of the City of Wellington, Com-
mission Agent, in all that piece or parcel of land
situate in the said City of Wellington, and being the
Section numbered 282 on the official map or plan of
the said city, bounded on the North by Section
283, on the South by Section 281, on the East and
West by Cambridge Terrace and Section 274 re-
spectively, together with the appurtenances to the
same belonging or appertaining; and also the in-
terest of the said Samuel Parkes as a tenant in
common in the fee-simple in all that piece or parcel
of land situate in the Hutt District, containing ten
acres and thirty-two perches, more or less; bounded
towards the North, four hundred and thirty links;
the East, two thousand three hundred and seventy-
three links; and the South, four hundred and thirty
links, by other part of the under-mentioned section;
and towards the West, two thousand three hundred
and seventy-three links, by other part of the said
section, now used as a road; be the said several
linkages a little more or less; which said piece of
land is part of Section marked 5 delineated on the
public map of the said Hutt District, deposited in
the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands,
Wellington; except Lots numbered 18, 19, and 20
thereof: And that I intend to cause the same to be
sold at the auction-rooms, on Lambton Quay, in the
City of Wellington, of Messrs. Laery and Campbell,
on the eighteenth day of May, 1880, at two o'clock
in the afternoon.

The Solicitor for the Execution Creditor is Mr.
Frank Morton Ollivier, of Lambton Quay, in Wel-
lington aforesaid.

SLEE V. EVANS AND HIS WIFE.

I HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, at the suit of FRANK SLEE, of Wai-
mate, in the County of Waimate, Licensed Land
Broker, I have taken in execution the fee-simple of
MARGARET EVANS, Wife of ROBERT EVANS, of Wai-
mate aforesaid, Blacksmith, and the life estate of the
said Robert Evans, in all that parcel of land situated
in the Waitangi District (i.e., at Waimate aforesaid),
containing thirty-two perches, being the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. xv., folio 79: And that
I intend to cause the same to be sold at the auction-
rooms of George Randall Freeman, at Waimate
aforesaid, on the twenty-second day of May, 1880,
at eleven o'clock in the forenoon.

The Solicitors for the Execution Creditor are
Messieurs White and Jameson, of Timaru.
