Post Office, Queenstown, transferred to Postal Dis-
trict of Invercargill.

General Post Office,
Wellington, 1st March, 1880.

IT is hereby notified for general information that, on
and after the 1st April next, the Post Office at
Queenstown will be transferred from the Postal Dis-
trict of Dunedin to that of Invercargill.

As the accounts of the depositors in the Post
Office Savings Bank at Queenstown, or at any other
office in the Postal District of Dunedin which may
have been opened prior to the 1st proximo, cannot after
that date be operated upon at Queenstown until they
have been transferred from Dunedin, the depositors
are requested to forward their books on or before
the 31st March instant to the Chief Postmaster at
Dunedin, with notice that they require their accounts
transferred.

Forms of notice of transfer, and covers for the
transmission of deposit-books, can be obtained from
the Postmaster at Queenstown.

IT is hereby notified for general information that
the designation of the Post Office in the Postal
District of Oamaru, formerly known as Puki-iviti,
has been changed to

SHAG POINT JUNCTION.

Alterations and Additions to the Rates for the Con-
veyance, Delivery, and Storage of Goods, Parcels,
&c., on the New Zealand Railways.

IN accordance with the By-laws for the New Zea-
land Railways, fixed by Order in Council, dated
the 17th day of December, 1878, the following

alterations and additions to the rates for the con-
veyance, delivery, and storage of goods, parcels, &c.,
on the New Zealand Railways, are hereby declared
to be fixed.

AUCKLAND SECTION.

DEMURRAGE ON COAL TRUCKS.

REGULATIONS for demurrage on trucks engaged in
the coal trade, applicable only to shipping consign-
ments at Auckland and Onehunga :—

Thereafter the Railway Department may discharge
and store at cost of owners under the current
regulations.

Nelson and Foxhill Railway, will be charged as Class
D; ships' goods will be charged according to bill of
lading, or by weight, or by measurement, at the
option of the Manager; other goods by weight or by
measurement, as the Manager directs.

will be made for each loading or unloading, which
shall include handling.
