HAMILTON HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 4 acres 2 roods and 35 perches, more
or less, situate in the Survey District of Hamilton,
being portion of Lot No. 1, Parish of Te Rapa, com-
mencing at a point 737 links from the easternmost
corner of said Lot 1. Bounded—North-easterly by
Crown land, 146 links; generally North-westerly,
South-westerly, and North-easterly by other part of
said Lot 1 and a public road, 155, 17, 1740, 700, 391,
1160, 397, and 88 links respectively; generally
South-westerly and South-easterly by the Kaipara-
Waikato Railway and other part of said Lot 1, 320,
1400, 391, 644, 1740, 18, and 213 links or there-
abouts respectively, to commencing point.

HAMILTON WEST HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 1 rood and 36 perches, more or less,
situate in the Survey District of Hamilton, being
portion of Crown land commencing at a point 737
links from the easternmost corner of Lot 1.
Bounded—South-westerly by Lot 1, 146 links;
North-westerly by a line, 505 links; generally South-
easterly by the Town Belt and other part of said
Crown land, 335 and 135 links or thereabouts re-
spectively, to commencing point.

All that other piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 1 acre and 3 perches, more or
less, being portion of the Town Belt, commencing
at a point 123 links in a north-easterly direction from
the eastern boundary of Lot 1. Bounded—North-
westerly by Crown land and other part of the Town
Belt, 335, 363, and 215 links respectively; North-
easterly by Crown land, 147 links; South-easterly
by lines, 271 and 675 links or thereabouts, to com-
mencing point.

All that other piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood and 29 perches,
more or less, being portion of Crown land com-
mencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 109, Town
of Hamilton. Bounded—Generally North-westerly
and South-westerly by a public road and other part
of Crown land, 1198, 215, 68, and 595 links respec-
tively; generally South-westerly and South-easterly
by the Town Belt and Crown land, 147, 595, 68, 199,
and 1198 links respectively; North-easterly by Lots
107, 108, and 109, Town of Hamilton, 183, 183, and
183 links respectively, to commencing point.

All that other piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Lot
107, Town of Hamilton, commencing at the western-
most corner of said Lot 107. Bounded—South-
westerly by Crown land, 183 links; South-easterly by
Lot 106, 549 links; North-easterly by a road, 183
links; North-westerly by Lot 108, 549 links, to
commencing point.

All that other piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Lot
108, Town of Hamilton, commencing at the western-
most corner of Lot 108. Bounded—South-westerly
by Crown land, 183 links; South-easterly by Lot
107, 549 links; North-easterly by a road, 183 links;
North-westerly by Lot 109, 549 links, to commencing
point.

All that other piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Lot
109, Town of Hamilton, commencing at the western-
most corner of said Lot 109. Bounded—South-
westerly by Crown land, 183 links; South-easterly
by Lot 108, 549 links; North-easterly by a road, 183
links; North-westerly by a road, 549 links, to com-
mencing point.

The above parcels of land being situated in the
Hamilton Survey District, Parish of Te Rapa, County
of Waikato, Provincial District of Auckland, Colony
of New Zealand, and are more particularly delineated
upon the plan marked P.W.D. 7500, deposited in
the office of the Minister for Public Works at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington,
Colony of New Zealand.

Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony-
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
tenth day of February, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Southland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The
Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from
time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural
lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall
think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred
payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day
on which the land shall be open for application; and
that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on
deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may
be recommended by any Land Board, and may also
from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Southland did, on
the twenty-second day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty, pass a resolution recom-
mending that the land described in the Schedule
hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on
deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the
aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said
land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on deferred
payments; and that Monday, the eighth day of
March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty,
shall be the day on which the said land shall be open
for application at the Land Office at Invercargill, in
allotments as surveyed and marked on the survey
map in the office of the Chief Surveyor.

And in pursuance of the fifth section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do hereby
fix the price at which the land so described shall be
sold to be the price set opposite each allotment in
the Schedule hereto.
