Notifying Changes in Sheep and Cattle Department since October, 1879.-Notice No. 82.

THE following changes in the Sheep and Cattle Department are published for general information :--

IN THE AUCKLAND SHEEP AND CATTLE DISTRICTS.
Inspector Alfred G. Howard, from Auckland Subdivision, has been appointed, from 1st January, 1881,
to take charge of the Marsden Subdivision, and to reside at Warkworth, vice Henry Dacre, deceased.
Inspector Alexander Monro, from Wellington District, has been appointed, from 1st January, 1881, to
take charge of the Auckland Subdivision, vice Inspector Howard, removed to Marsden Subdivision.
Inspector John Runciman has retired, from 1st December, 1880, from the charge of the Waikato and
Taupo Subdivisions, and of the South Auckland Cattle District.
Mr. Alfred Sharp has been appointed, from 1st December, 1880, an Inspector of Sheep, to take charge
of the Waikato and Taupo Subdivisions, and to be a Deputy Cattle Inspector in South Auckland Cattle
District, and for all Cattle Districts, vice J. Runciman, retired.
Inspector Hector McN. Campbell, Poverty Bay Subdivision, has resigned, from 16th February, 1880.
Inspector James Meldrum, Poverty Bay Subdivision, has resigned, from 1st March, 1880.

IN THE NAPIER SHEEP AND CATTLE DISTRICTS.
Chief Inspector Pierce Power, Napier Sheep and Cattle Districts, has resigned, from 6th March, 1880.
Inspector Robert C. Pasley, from Marlborough District, has been appointed, from 1st April, 1880,
Chief Inspector of Sheep for the Napier District, vice P. Power, resigned.
Inspector Thomas W. White, Napier Sheep and Cattle Districts, has resigned, from 31st August, 1880.
Inspector Thomas Hunt, from Nelson District, has been appointed, from 1st December, 1880, to the
Napier Sheep and Cattle Districts, vice T. W. White, resigned.

IN THE NELSON SHEEP AND CATTLE DISTRICTS.
Inspector Benjamin Blower, Motueka Subdivision, has been appointed, from 10th November, 1880, to
take charge of the Nelson Subdivision, and to reside at Nelson, vice Inspector T. Hunt, removed to Napier
District.

IN THE MARLBOROUGH SHEEP AND CATTLE DISTRICTS.
Inspector Arthur K. Blundell, from Awatere Subdivision, has been appointed, from 10th March, 1880,
to take charge of the Amuri Subdivision, vice Inspector Pasley, removed to Napier District.
Mr. William H. Knyvett has been appointed, from 1st May, 1880, an Inspector of Sheep, to take
charge of the Awatere Subdivision, vice Inspector A. K. Blundell, removed to Amuri Subdivision.

IN THE OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND SHEEP AND CATTLE DISTRICTS.
Inspector Charles Anderson has retired, from 1st March, 1880, from the charge of the Southland
Subdivision (remaining an Inspector of Sheep at Invercargill).
Mr. Angus A. Macdonald has been appointed, from 4th March, 1880, an Inspector of Sheep, to take
charge of the Southland Subdivision, and to reside at Gore, vice Inspector C. Anderson, retired.
