be recommended by any Land Board, and may also
from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation :

And whereas the Land Board of Taranaki did, on
the fourteenth day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty, pass a resolution recommending
that the land described in the Schedule hereto
annexed should be set apart for sale on deferred
payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the
aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said
land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on
deferred payments; and that Monday, the eighth
day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty, shall be the day on which the said land
shall be open for application at the Land Office at
New Plymouth, in allotments as surveyed and
marked on the survey map in the office of the Chief
Surveyor.

In pursuance of section four of "The Land
Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do hereby
declare that subsection four of the sixty-third sec-
tion of "The Land Act, 1877," shall not apply to
any of the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

And further in pursuance of the fifth section of
"The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do
hereby fix the price at which the land so described
shall be sold to be the price set opposite each allot-
ment in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon me by the fourth section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I, Sir Her-
cules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the provisions of subsection four of sec-
tion sixty-three of "The Land Act, 1877," shall not
apply to the whole or any part of the lands described
in the Schedule hereto, which were set apart for
alienation upon deferred payment prior to the pass-
ing of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,"
aforesaid.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The
Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from
time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural
lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall
think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred
payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day
