Gold Fields Notices.

Gold-Mining Leases cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-mining leases cancelled, and that the ground is now open for application as if no leases of the said ground had ever been applied for:—

Thomas Mulligan and others; 10 acres, District of Inangahua. No. 519.

Revival Gold-Mining Company (Limited); 7 acres and 19 perches, District of Inangahua. No. 635.

John Quillinane; 4 acres 3 roods 16 perches, District of Inangahua. No. 714.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before the 27th day of January, 1881.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Reefton.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Joseph Kilgour. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: “Kaituna Quartz-Mining Company (Limited).” 16 acres 2 roods, East and adjoining Golden Point Company’s Lease, Devil’s Creek, Inangahua, in the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this eighteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

THE EQUITABLE BUILDING AND INVESTMENT COMPANY OF WELLINGTON (LIMITED), the registered Proprietors of Mortgage No. 2197 of part of Section No. 227, City of Wellington, being part of the Allotments 6 and 7 on the deposited plan No. 69, as shown by the plan drawn in said Mortgage No. 2197, have applied for an order of foreclosure against the right of redemption of the said land under section 126 of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” and having tendered evidence of the matters required to be proved upon such application, I hereby, in terms of the said Act, offer the said land for sale for the purposes of satisfying the amount of principal, interest, and costs due on the said mortgage; and I give notice that an order of foreclosure will be made as aforesaid, unless the amount due be satisfied on or before the 24th day of January, 1881.
