The above township is situated in the heart of the Waimate Plains, on the main coast road-line, and is about 9 miles from Hawera.

Lithograph plans of the township can be obtained at any of the land offices in the colony after the 20th instant; and copies of the plans, with lists of sections, will be exhibited at the principal post offices and railway stations throughout the colony.

Terms of Sale: One-fourth of purchase-money to be paid at sale, and the balance to the Receiver of Land Revenue at Carlyle or Hawera within one calendar month from date of sale, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land thenceforth be null and void.

Crown-grant fee to be paid on completion of purchase.

The above comprises about 6,000 acres of well-watered level land, close to bush reserves, and is in every respect similar to the portion of the Waimate Plains which was sold on the 29th of October last. The main coast road-line from Hawera to New Plymouth runs through the block for eight miles.

Waimate Plains.—Further Sale of Rural Land of Special Value.

IT is hereby notified that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereunder will be offered for sale by public auction, open to all bidders, on Thursday, the 16th of December, at 11 o'clock a.m., at Hawera, at an upset price of £4 per acre.

Sale of Crown Lands: Deferred-payments and Special Value.

IT is hereby notified that the following sections of rural land, situate in the Oroua Survey District (being part of the balance of the unsold Crown land in the Kiwitea Block, Manawatu), will be open to purchase on deferred payments by application at the Land Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 24th November next.
