NOTICE is hereby given that Messieurs BUCKLEY, STAFFORD, and FITZHERBERT, of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, Solicitors, have applied, on behalf of Louis Roederer, of Reims, France, Champagne Manufacturer, to register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the trade marks of which the following are descriptions, viz.:—
Description of Trade Marks.
No. 1 is the name "Louis Roederer," under which is the word "Reims," both the name and address being in writing.
No. 2 is the name "Louis Roederer," under which is the word "Reims," both the name and address being in writing. At the bottom are the printed words "Reserve for Great Britain."
No. 3 is a monogram composed of the letters "L" and "R."
No. 4 is the words "Reims Carte Blanche," the word "Reims" being above the words "Carte Blanche."
No. 5 is the representation of a comet, around which and nearly enclosing it is the name "L. Roederer."
No. 6 is the words "Reims Carte Blanche," the word "Reims" being above the words "Carte Blanche." On the right, slanting from left to right, is the abbreviation and word "Gt. Britain."
Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.

THE following rules and regulations for the management of the Little Akaloa Cemetery, having been submitted to His Excellency the Administrator of the Government in Council, are published in accordance with "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877."

RULES FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE LITTLE AKALOA CEMETERY (COUNTY OF AKAROA.)
- Such portions of the Little Akaloa Cemetery as may from time to time be fenced in shall be laid out into blocks and divided into burial-plots measuring 5 feet by 5 feet. The following to be the scale of burial-charges:—

For every single interment in ordinary grave, adults ... 0 10 0
For every single interment in ordinary grave, children under 12 years ... 0 7 6
Recording ... 0 2 6
For reopening any grave for any interment, adult or child ... 0 10 0
Any person desiring to have the exclusive right of burial in perpetuity in any plot or plots can have the same on the payment to the Trustees of the sum of 10s. sterling per plot, measuring 5 feet by 5 feet, for such right over and above the burial-charges.
Fences, Tombstones, &c., may be erected.
- Persons purchasing the exclusive right of burial may, by permission of the Trustees, fence in the plot or plots of ground allotted to them, and may erect tombstones, headstones, or other monuments: Provided always that, before any such fence, tombstone, or other monument be erected, a plan thereof and a copy of every proposed epitaph or other inscription be submitted to the Trustees, and be duly approved by them.
