Holiday.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power vested in
me by "The Customs Regulation Act, 1858,"
I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the ninth day of
November instant shall be kept as a holiday at the
Customhouses at the several ports of New Zealand,
for the celebration of the Prince of Wales's Birthday.
Given under the hand of His Excellency James
Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the
Administrator of the Government of Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand; and
issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington,
this eighth day of November, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
third day of November, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the power and authority vested in
the Governor in Council by "The Building
Societies Act, 1880," His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby make the following
regulations respecting the fees to be paid for the
transmission, registration, and inspection of docu-
ments under the said Act, that is to say,-
There shall be paid to the Registrar of Building
Societies which constituted under the
said Act the following fees for and in respect of the
several matters and things herein set forth.
SCHEDULE OF FEES.
Β£ s. d.
For every certificate of incorporation under section 6 Nil.
For every certificate of incorporation under section 17. 3 0 0
For every certificate of registration of alteration of
rules, section 23 0 10 0 X
For every certificate of registration of change of
name, section 27 0 10 0
For reception of any notice and registration there-
upon under sections 36 or 37 0 10 0 X
For every award by Registrar under section 41 2 0 0
For receiving and filing copy of account and state-
ment under section 48 0 5 0
For every inspection of any document or record in
custody of Registrar.. 0 1 0 X
For every copy of, or extract from, any document or
record certified by Registrar 0 5 0 X
Where the number of folios exceed five, an additional
charge for each folio in excess of five 0 0 6
In addition to the above, the following regulation
respecting the fees to be paid by societies to Revising
Barristers is also made, that is to say,-
Every society whose rules, or any amendments
thereof, shall be certified to by the Revising Bar-
rister appointed under the said Act, shall pay to
such Revising Barrister a fee of 5 5 0
Provided always that the said Revising Barrister
shall be entitled to no further fee in respect of any
amendment of any rules he may certify if one fee
has already been paid within the period of three years
next before the giving of such certificate.
