Vesting Reserves.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twentieth day of January, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto were reserved on the twentieth day of De-
cember, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight, for the purpose of gravel-pits: And whereas,
it is expedient to vest
the said land in the Manawatu County Council:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in the
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of “ The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878,” doth hereby declare that,
from and after the twentieth day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty, the said
reserves shall become vested in the Chairman, Counci-
lors, and Inhabitants of the said county, in trust for
the purposes hereinbefore named.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 16 acres 3 roods 31 perches, more or less, being
Part I. of Section No. 448 on the plan of the Town-
ship of Palmerston, in the Manawatu District, Pro-
vincial District of Wellington. Bounded towards
the North-east by a public road, 2156 links; towards
the South by a public road, 2667 links; and towards
the North-west by a public road, 1572 links.
