We have counted the cash in hand, and have, to the best of our belief, ascertained the correctness of the above balance-sheet. We find that £41 15s. 10d. was the amount of interest accrued to 31st December, 1878, but not then payable.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that GEORGE CALDER, of the North-East Valley, in the Provincial District of Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, Settler, and DAVID ANDERSON, of the same place, Carpenter, claiming as Devisees under the Will of ERNEST FREDERICK KROPP, late of the North-East Valley aforesaid, Settler, deceased, have made application to the District Land Registrar of the District of Otago to be registered as Proprietors in fee-simple of all that piece or parcel of land being part of Section 38, Block IX., North Harbour and Blueskin District, and being the land described in Certificate of Title registered in the Lands Registry Office at Dunedin, in Vol. v., folio 365; and that the said George Calder and David Anderson will be so registered as such proprietors unless caveat be lodged at this office forbidding the same within one calendar month from the date of publication of this notice.
Dated this 15th day of January, 1879, at the Lands Registry Office, Dunedin.
