TO HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR.
PURSUANT to "The Manawatu Land Orders Act, 1877," I, David Lewis, a Commissioner under the
Ordinance of the Legislative Council, Session XI., No. 15, do, with respect to the claim specified in
the first column of the Schedule hereto, report to the effect set forth in the second column of such
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
Name and Address of Claimant.
The Earl of Bective, Kirkman Daniel Hodgson, and
Benjamin Buck Greene, Trustees appointed by the High
Court of Justice in England in the suit of Lord Kenlis
versus Hodgson, 1870, under the will of William
Thompson, late of Underly Hall, Westmoreland, in
England.
Commissioner's Report.
Entitled to receive Government scrip to the amount of Β£400, in
satisfaction of Land Orders Nos. 339 and 342, which are declared to
be lost. Satisfactory proof thereof having been received. The value
of the said land orders being Β£200.

Waipawa a Rabbit District.

to be Auditors of the Board for the ensuing year.

HIS Excellency the Governor in Council directs it
to be notified that a petition has been received
from certain landholders in the counties of Hawke's
Bay and Waipawa, praying that the said counties
may be proclaimed a district under "The Rabbit
Nuisance Act, 1876," and that, if no counter-petition
is received by him within thirty days from the publi-
cation of this notice, he will proclaim and constitute
the area described in the first-mentioned petition a
district for the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1876."

SAMUEL ALEXANDER PATRICK, Esq., M.R.C.S.E.,
to be an additional Public Vaccinator, to perform
gratuitous vaccination in accordance with the pro-
visions of the said Act and any regulations made or
to be made thereunder, for the District of Christ-
church.
