Lands declared to be Waste Lands of the Crown.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of "The
Waste Lands Administration Act, 1876," it
is enacted that, whenever the Governor is satisfied
that any lands purchased out of the sums authorized
under "The Immigration and Public Works Act,
1870," and any Act amending the same, to be issued
and expended in the purchase of lands in the North
Island of New Zealand, are free from Native claims
and all difficulties in connection therewith, he shall,
by Proclamation, declare such lands to be waste
lands of the Crown, subject, except as thereafter in
the said Act provided, to be sold and dealt with
according to the provisions of the laws regulating the
sale and disposal of waste lands of the Crown for the
time being in force in the land district in which such
land is situated; and thereupon such land so pro-
claimed shall become subject to such provisions:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule
hereto have been purchased out of the sums autho-
rized under "The Immigration and Public Works
Act, 1870," and Acts amending the same, and it is
expedient that the said lands should be declared to
be waste lands of the Crown:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, being satisfied that the lands described
in the Schedule hereto are free from Native
claims and all difficulties in connection there-
with, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by "The Waste Lands Ad-
ministration Act, 1876," do hereby proclaim and
declare the said lands to be waste lands of the Crown,
subject to be sold and dealt with according to the
provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal
of waste lands of the Crown in force in the Land
District of Auckland.
SCHEDULE.
MOEHAU No. 1P.
ALL that parcel of land in the District of Coro-
mandel, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
known by the name of Moehau No. 1P, containing by
admeasurement 19,500 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the North by the Pauhu Stream, the Poiha-
kena Nos. 1 and 2 and the Moehau No. 1M Blocks,
45282 links; towards the East by the ocean;
towards the South-east by the Tapapakaroro and
Okahutai Blocks, the Okahutai Stream, the Motuka-
hakahaha, Tangiaronui, Paraemauku, Moehau Nos. 1H
and 1G Blocks, 60400 links; and towards the West
by the Moehau No. 11 Block, by the sea, by the
Moehau No. 1k and Moehau No. 11 Blocks, 56125
links, and thence by the Hauraki Gulf to the Pauhu
Creek, the place of commencement: save and except-
ing therefrom the Ngatihi o Moehau No. 1o Block,
containing 150 acres.
MOEHAU No. 1c.
All that parcel of land in the District of Coro-
mandel, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
known by the name of Moehau No 1c, containing by
admeasurement 992 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-west by the Pakautukua Block,
5000 links; towards the East by the ocean; towards
the South by the Moehau No. 1 or Waikawau Block,
13250 links; and towards the West by the Tangiaro-
nui and Parakete Blocks, 47000 links.
KUAOTUNA No. 1A.
All that parcel of land in the District of Coroman-
del, in the Provincial District of Auckland, known by
the name of Kuaotuna No. 1A, containing by admea-
surement 1451 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded
towards the North by the sea; towards the East by
the Kuaotuna No. 2 Block, 20350 links; towards the
South by the Wharekao and Otanguru Blocks and
the Mapauriki Creek, 25293 links; and towards the
West by the Matarangi Block, 15710 links.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and au-
thorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Hercules
George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, by Order in Council made under the
provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act, 1873," of
even date herewith, I have appointed Monday, the
fourth day of August next, to be observed as a bank
holiday, under and for the purposes of the above-
mentioned Act, within the Borough of the City of
Nelson.
