NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE,

NOTICE.
Native Land Court Office,
Auckland, 29th April, 1879.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the 30th day of May, 1878, it was ordered by His
Excellency the Governor in Council under "The Native Land Act, 1873," and "The Native Land
Act, 1874," that the claim of Mere Raiha and others to a piece of land called Taitai, situate at Taitai, near
Waiapu, in the District of Hawke's Bay, heard and determined by the Native Land Court of New
Zealand, on the 2nd day of April, 1878, at Waiomatatini, in the district aforesaid, should be reheard before
the said Court, and that such rehearing should take place before the 2nd day of April, 1880.
Now, I hereby give notice that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Waiomatatini, on
the 25th day of July, 1879, for the rehearing of the afore-mentioned claim.

A sitting of the Native Land Court of New Zealand, begun and holden at Shortland, Thames, on the
22nd day of April, 1879, before Theophilus Heale, Esquire, Judge, and Hori Ngatai, Assessor:
In the matter of the application of Hori More for the rehearing of the Hape South No. 1, Block, it
was ordered that a memorial of the ownership of the several persons respectively named in the third
column of the said Schedule be inscribed on a separate folium of the Court Rolls.
Witness the hand of Theophilus Heale, Esquire, Judge, and the Seal of the Court, this
24th day of April, 1879.
