THE following returns from the Inspector of Cattle for the Wellington District are published for general information.

I have the honor to forward to you the return of cattle arrived from foreign ports into the Port of Wellington, for the six months ending 31st December, 1878; also the return of diseased cattle inspected in the district within the same period.

RETURN of CATTLE inspected within the DISTRICT of WELLINGTON, not brought by Sea, within the Six Months ended the 31st December, 1878, which have been found to be affected with any Contagious or Infectious Disease.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 17th day of February, 1879.
