Superintendent Collectors of Agricultural Statistics
appointed.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 2nd January, 1879.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint the under-mentioned gentlemen to be
Superintendent Collectors of Agricultural Statistics
for the collection of February, 1879, under "The
Census Act, 1877," and to define that the district
for which each shall act shall be that portion of the
colony comprised by the counties or parts of counties
specified opposite his name, including the boroughs
within their defined boundaries :β€”

Borough, appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased
under section 20 of "The Municipal Corpora-
tions Act, 1876," to appoint

BENJAMIN WILLOUGHBY

to be Town Clerk of the Borough of Campbelltown
(as constituted by Proclamation of the 23rd of
December, 1878), and also Returning Officer to hold
the first election of Mayor, Councillors, and Auditors
of the said borough.

Also to appoint Wednesday, the fifth day of Feb-
ruary, for the election of Mayor; and Friday, the
seventh day of February, for the election of Council-
lors; and Friday, the fourteenth day of February,
for the election of Auditors.

Also to appoint Tuesday, the eleventh day of
February, at noon, for the first meeting of the Council
of the said borough, and the Courthouse at Camp-
belltown to be the place of such meeting.
