Season for Shooting, &c., Imported Game in Auck-
land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,"
and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875," and
in exercise of every other power enabling me in that
behalf, I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, Admin-
istrator of the Government of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that phea-
sants, Californian quail, and Australian quail shall be
open to be hunted, shot, taken, or killed, within the
Counties of Mongonui, Hokianga, Bay of Islands,
Whangarei, Hobson, Rodney, Waitemata, Eden,
Manukau, Coromandel, Thames, Piako, Waikato,
Waipa, Raglan, Kawhia, Tauranga, Whakatane, Cook,
West Taupo, and East Taupo, between the first day
of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine, and the thirty-first day of July, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine, but only between
the hours of sunrise and sunset.
Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Administrator of the Govern-
ment in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies;
and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this seventeenth day of April,
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities conferred

1875," and in exercise of every other power enabling
me in that behalf,, Hercules George Robert Robin-
son, Administrator of the Government of the Colony

cock-pheasants shall be open to be hunted, shot,
taken, or killed, within the Counties of Taranaki and
Patea, between the first day of May, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine, and the thirty-first
day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine, both inclusive, but only between the hours of
sunrise and sunset.
