Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1878," and, in
the opinion of the Administrator of the Government,
it is expedient to change the purposes of such reserve
to another of the purposes named in the said Part I.,
as hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the sixth
section of "The Public Reserves Act Amendment
Act, 1878," doth hereby order and direct that the
purpose of the reserve mentioned in the first column
of the said Schedule hereto shall be changed from
that of a reserve for municipal purposes; and doth
hereby declare and define the purposes of the said
reserve to be those specified in the second column of
the said Schedule, the same being one of the purposes
named in Part 1. of the Schedule to the said Act.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
eighteenth day of March, 1879.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867" (hereinafter called "the said
Act"), it is enacted that, if any title to or interest in
any hereditaments shall accrue to any Maoris, who
or any of whom shall be infants, lunatics, or under
legal disability, it shall be lawful for the Governor
in Council, if he think fit, to order that such here-
ditaments, or any part thereof or interest therein as
shall to the Governor in Council be shown to belong
to such infant, or lunatic, or other person under legal
disability, shall be vested in trustees, as the Governor
in Council shall think fit:
And whereas, by an order bearing date the twenty-
first day of May, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-five, under the hand of John Rogan,
Esquire, Judge of the Native Land Court, under the
seal of the said Court, it was ordered that a memorial
of the ownership of Hetariki Tutahaa and others to
the land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto be inscribed on the Court rolls:
And whereas the said Hetariki Tutahaa is an in-
fant under the age of twenty-one years, and it is
expedient that Tiopira Tawhiao be appointed trustee
under the said Act, on behalf of the said Hetariki
Tutahaa:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act,
doth hereby order that the interest and share of the
said Hetariki Tutahaa in the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in
TIOPIRA TAWHIAO,
as Trustee, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Hetariki Tutahaa during
his minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement two hundred
and forty-three (243) acres, more or less, situate at
Poverty Bay, in the District of Hawke's Bay, being
called or known by the name of Rakaiketeroa.
Bounded on the North by survey lines separating
this block from Waihora; on the East by the Wai-
paoa River; on the West by the Waipaoa River; on
the South by the Waipaoa River.

MERE PEKA KAIMAKO,
as Trustee, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Atiria Hauwaho during
her minority.
