Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.

Objections to granting such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Dunedin, on or before
the 3rd day of April, 1879.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Dunedin.

SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: John Millard and others. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Zealandia Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres, at
east of Fraser's Gully, in the Hindon Mining
District.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this third
day of March, one thousand eight hun-

gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is

mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.

Objections to granting such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Greymouth, on or before
the 26th day of March, 1879.
