ONEHUNGA WHARF.

Shipping Wharfage.

  1. The following rates will be charged for vessels using the wharf:—
  2. Every licensed ferry steamer, £4 per quarter in advance.
  3. Every vessel under 25 tons, not included in clause 2, 10s. per quarter in advance.
  4. Every steamer owned and registered in Onehunga, and not included in clauses
    2 and 3, one farthing per ton net register per day or part of a day.
  5. Every vessel not included in clauses 2, 3, and 4, one farthing per ton gross
    register per day or part of a day.
  6. Every vessel occupying a berth outside another vessel, one-eighth of a penny
    per ton net register per day or part of a day.

Cranage.

  1. For all weights of 2 tons and upwards lifted within the hour ... 10 0

8. There shall be paid for each time of passing on to, or off any wharf, pier,
jetty, &c.,—

Goods Wharfage (Weight or Measurement according to Ship's Bill of Lading).
9. On all goods landed (except such as are enumerated in clause 12), not being
the produce of the Provincial District of Auckland, there shall be paid a rate of 2s.
per ton.
10. On all goods passed over the wharf for reshipment (except such as are
enumerated in clause 12), not the produce of the Provincial District of Auckland,
there shall be paid a rate of 1s. per ton.
11. On all goods shipped for export out of the colony (except such as are enu-
merated in clause 12), there shall be paid a rate of 1s. per ton.
12. On all goods enumerated in the following Schedule, the special rates affixed
thereto shall be paid, viz.,—

  • Carts or drays, each: Landed on Wharf: 2s. 6d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 1s. 3d.
  • Carriages of four wheels, each: Landed on Wharf: 5s. 0d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 2s. 6d.
  • Carriages of two wheels, each: Landed on Wharf: 2s. 6d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 1s. 3d.
  • Cart or carriage wheels, unattached, each: Landed on Wharf: 0s. 4d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 0s. 2d.
  • Cocoanuts, per 100: Landed on Wharf: 0s. 2d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 0s. 1d.
  • Horns and hoofs, per 1,000: Landed on Wharf: 1s. 0d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 0s. 6d.
  • Posts and rails, per 100...: Landed on Wharf: 2s. 6d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 1s. 3d.

  • Oars, per dozen or fraction of a dozen: Landed on Wharf: 0s. 2d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 0s. 1d.
  • Minerals: Landed on Wharf: 1s. 0d.; Exported or passed over Wharf: 0s. 6d.

On any of the goods above named, the produce of the Provincial District of Auck-
land, the charge only for export out of the colony will be payable.
13. On all goods made from imported produce or material, landed or passed over
the wharf, and on which wharfage has not already been paid, there shall be paid the
rates for the manufactured articles.
