Certificated Accountant in Bankruptcy.

NOTICE.—His Honor the Chief Justice has, this
twenty-ninth day of January, 1879, appointed
HENRY JOLLY, of Marton, Commission Agent, to be
a Certificated Accountant in Bankruptcy, under "The
Debtors and Creditors Act, 1876," for the Judicial
District of Wellington.

NOTICE.—His Honor the Chief Justice has, this
twenty-fifth day of January, 1879, appointed
WILLIAM COPE, of 179, Pitt Street, Sydney, in the
Colony of New South Wales, an Attorney of the
Supreme Court of New South Wales, to be a Com-
missioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for
the purpose of taking any oath, affidavit, or affirma-
tion, and for taking acknowledgments of married
women, under the second and fourth sections of
"The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act,
1875."

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicant specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Lawrence on or before
the 7th day of February, 1879.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Lawrence.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Daniel Crawford Corrison. Style
under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Gibraltar Quartz-Mining Company." 10 acres,
at Table Hill, in the Tuapeka Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this
twentieth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine.
