"The Public Health Act, 1876," His Excellency
the Governor has been pleased to appoint
| THOMAS BOWIE, Esq., M.B.,
to be Public Vaccinator, to perform gratuitous
vaccination in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act and any regulations made or to be made
thereunder, for the Districts of Otepopo and
Hampden.

MANUFACTURING COMPANY, of 39, 40, and 41, Foster
Lane, Cheapside, in the City of London, to register
under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," a trade mark
of which the following is a description, viz.:--

The letter S in front of a lady working a sewing
machine; on the S are the words "Singer's Sewing
Machines." In the lower loop of the S, on the skirt
