For each loading or unloading done by the Railway, 3d. per 100 feet additional
will be charged.
Where senders who do their own loading require receipt for number of pieces,
3d. per 100 feet superficial additional will be charged, as if loading had been done
by the Department.

Class L.—Posts and Rails, Split House Blocks.

For distances of—
Not more than 25 miles ... ... ... 10d. per truck per mile.
More than 25 miles ... ... ... 7$ rac{1}{2}$d. " "

Firewood.

For distances of—
Not more than 25 miles ... ... ... 10d. per truck per mile.
More than 25 miles ... ... ... 6d. " "

Minimum charge, 6s. per truck.
Goods of this class will be carried only at the owners' sole risk and responsibility,
who must do all loading and unloading. For each loading or unloading done by the
Department 5s. per truck will be charged. Small lots or part consignments will be
charged as a truck, or as Class D, at option of sender.
A truck of firewood must not exceed 3 cords.

Class M.—Live Stock.
Cattle and Horses, in Truck-loads.

For distances of—
Not more than 10 miles ... ... ... 1s. 6d. per truck per mile.
More than 10 miles and not more than 50 miles ... 5d. " "
50 " " 100 " ... 4d. " "
" 100 " ... 3d. " "
Minimum charge, 15s. per truck.

Sheep, Pigs, Goats, and Calves, in Truck-loads.

For distances of—
Not more than 10 miles ... ... ... 1s. per truck per mile.
More than 10 miles and not more than 50 miles ... 4d. " "
50 " " 100 " ... 3d. " "
" 100 " ... 2d. " "
Minimum charge, 10s. per truck.

No more animals are to be put into a truck than it will conveniently hold.
Horses, in consignments of not less than two truck-loads, may be sent in cattle
trucks, at rates charged for cattle in truck-loads.
One drover for each consignment of three or more trucks of cattle, sheep, &c.,
may travel free.

Cattle, Calves, Sheep, Goats, and Pigs, in small lots,
Will be charged as a truck-load, or at the following rates :—

All animals must be loaded and unloaded by owners, who must take entire respon-
sibility and risk.

Class N.—Minerals.

More than 50 miles and not more

A reduction of 20 per cent. on the above rates will be made on native coal and
fire-clay and coal dross.
Minimum quantity, 4 tons. Any less quantity will be charged as such minimum,
or as Class D.
