NATIVE LANDS COURT.
Notice under the Native Land Acts, 1873-74, of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the Court fixed to be holden at Whitianga, Mercury Bay, on the 10th
day of December, 1879, the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose
names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of
land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are
published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant: Hamiora Mangakahia, Peneamine Tanui, and Pane Tarore
Name and Locality of Block: Te Pungapunga, near Whangapoua
Boundaries: Boundary commences at Te Rehutai and runs along Pera Te Rewarewa's boundary, turns to Waipihi, continues on to Kaipapaka, to Kinikini and to Raumahiao, thence North-westerly follows the Haraunga boundary to Pukerimu, then follows the Punga-punga River to the salt-water, and following the coast closes at Te Rehutai

Name of Claimant: Peneamine Tanui
Name and Locality of Block: Hukehuke, Mercury Bay
Boundaries: Boundary commences at Te Tumu-o-Hukehuke, and goes in a North-easterly direction, continuing along the coast to the South-east of Ama-rutorea; then turning in a South-westerly direction goes to Owhiotu; thence Easterly follows Mr. Charles Carina's survey, the Karamuramu line to the coast, and turning to the North-east arrives at Te Tumu-o-Hukehuke

Name of Claimant: Peneamine Tanui and Miriama Peehi
Name and Locality of Block: Te Raupuha, near Mercury Bay
Boundaries: Boundary commences on the East of Maukaha, then ascends to Te Taha-nga, continuing on to Puhiwai, thence turning to the South, descends to Tataariki and Pokoharu, thence turn-ing easterly follows the coast to Te Raupuha and Panekokiri, and turning northerly, closes at Maukaha

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed, can be seen at the Government Survey Office, Auckland.
