6th November to be a Bank Holiday, and 7th Novem-
ber to be a Bank Half-holiday, in Wanganui.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and au-
thorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Hercules
George Robert Robinson, Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that,
by Order in Council made under the provisions of
"The Bank Holidays Act, 1873," and "The Bank
Holidays Amendment Act, 1878," of even date here-
with, I have appointed Thursday, the sixth day of
November next, to be observed as a bank holiday, and
Friday, the seventh day of November next, to be
observed as a bank half-holiday from the hour of
noon, under and for the purposes of the above-
mentioned Acts, within the Borough of Wanganui
and the County of Wanganui.
Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-eighth day of October, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-nine.
