3. Whenever two or more sections are surveyed
together by the same surveyor, one-third of the above
rates shall be deducted for all areas above fifty acres;
and whenever also more than one-half the length of
the boundary lines shall run through vegetation less
than six feet high, one-third of the Schedule rates
shall be deducted.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
on or before the 1st day of December next.

  1. JOSEPH WEBB.-1 rood and 35 perches,
    part of Section 486, Nelson, fronting 120 feet and 171
    feet to Shelbourne Street. Unoccupied.

  2. WILLIAM MELVILLE.-1 rood and 4
    perches, part of Section 306, Nelson, fronting 105
    links on Halifax Street, with a depth of 258 links,
    together with right-of-way adjoining its western
    boundary. Occupied by Applicant.

  3. GEORGE HARPER-1 acre, Section 514,
    Nelson. Occupied by John Rochfort.

  4. STEPHEN BROWN WHITE.-3 acres,
    Sections 141, 142, and 143, Nelson. Unoccupied.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that SUSANNAH
GRANT, of Nelson, Widow, claiming as Ad-
ministratrix of ROBERT GRANT, late of Nelson,
Carter, deceased, has applied to be registered as
Proprietrix of that part of Section numbered 150,
City of Nelson, comprised in certificate of title,
Vol. i.c., folio 554; and that she will be so registered,
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or
before the 1st day of December next.

WHEREAS application has been made to me, by
MARTHA GIBSON, the Wife of SAMUEL
GIBSON, late of Southbridge, Farmer, to register a
dealing affecting Rural Section No. 26276, County
Ashburton, now standing in the name of the said
Martha Gibson, and a statutory declaration as to the
loss of the license to occupy of said section having
been lodged with me: Notice is hereby given that I
shall register the above dealing, unless caveat for-
bidding the same be lodged within fourteen days from
the publication of this notice.
