Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint
that sittings of the District Court of Wanganui shall
be held as follows:-
In the Courthouse at Wanganui, for civil and
criminal business, on the second Monday in the
months of March, June, September, and December
in each year.
In the Courthouse at Wanganui, for civil business
and bankruptcy business, on the second Monday in
the months of January, February, April, May, July,
August, October, and November in each year.
In the Courthouse at Wanganui, for bankruptcy
business only, on the fourth Monday in the months
of January, February, March, May, June, July,
August, September, and November in each year.
In the Courthouse at Palmerston North, for civil
and criminal business, on the third Monday in the
months of March, June, September, and December
in each year.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as
aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court
appointed for that day shall be holden on the first
day thereafter not being a holiday.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this sixteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do
hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Marlborough described in
the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in
the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Marlborough, containing 192 acres and 15 perches,
more or less, situate in the Survey District of Kai-
koura Suburban, and being Sections numbered 62,
83, 84, and 85, on the plan of the said district, in the
Survey Office, Blenheim. For the protection of the
banks of the Kohi River.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

east by Section 3, 200 links; towards the South-east
by Section 7, 125 links; towards the South-west by
Section 5, 200 links; and towards the North-west
by a street, 125 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less. For the purposes of a ferry.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the

Street, 330 links; towards the South by Grey Street,
260 links; and towards the West by the waters of the
Waioeka and Otara Rivers. For a landing-place.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
