The Governor Tahunaroa ... Bounded as follows--commencing at
Trig Station J. 1, on the Waitahanni
River near the sea-coast, from thence
bounded on the East by a direct line
to the eastern shore of Rotorua
Lake, from thence bounded towards
the South and West, following the
eastern shore of said lake for a short
distance, thence by a direct line across
the said lake to the northern shore to
its North-western extremity, thence
by a surveyed line in a west and
northerly direction, to the eastern
shore of Rotoehu Lake, thence in a
direct line to the western shore of
same, from thence bounded on the
West by a surveyed line running in
a direct northerly direction along and
near western side of and to southern
shore of a western inlet of said lake,
thence in a direct line across said
western inlet to northern shore of
same, thence in a general northerly
direction by a surveyed line to Tahua
on the Maraetahia River, thence
bounded by and following the eastern
bank of the Maraetahia River at
Kaitangata, from thence bounded
towards the North and West by the
eastern bank of the Waitahanui
River to Trig Station J. 1, the point
of commencement
The Governor Waitahanui ... The eastern boundary commences at the
mouth of the Waitahanui River,
which river it follows to its source,
thence by survey lines crossing the
Rotoehu Lake to a Trig Station at
Pakirikiri. On the South it is boun-
ded by two survey lines 126 chains
95 links and 30 chains 93 links re-
spectively to Arero, thence by three
survey lines 80 chains 4 links 90
chains 10 links and 10 chains 3 links
respectively to Pararaika on the Po-
ngakawa River, at which point the
western boundary commences, and
follows the course of the Pongakawa
River to a point about 20 chains
north of Kahangakaeaea, thence by
two survey lines 304 chains and 159
chains, scaled, respectively to Ohine-
panea on the coast, and thence it fol-
lows the coast-line of the Bay of
Plenty to the starting point, viz.,
mouth of the Waitahanui River
The Governor Kaikokopu ... Bounded as follows--commencing at a
point on the east bank of the Kaiko-
kopu River, thence bounded on the
North by a straight line, surveyed,
running in an easterly direction to
Parawaiti on the west bank of the
Pongakawa River, thence bounded on
the East by the west bank of the
Pongakawa River to near the junc-
tion of a small creek entering the
same from the eastward, thence boun-
ded on the South by a surveyed line
in a general westerly direction to the
east bank of the Kaikokopu River, near Wharepapa, thence bounded on the West by the east bank of
the Kaikokopu River, to the point of commencement
