MUAUPOKO (PART OF.)
All that parcel of land in the Otaki District, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, containing by
admeasurement 1,000 acres or thereabouts, and
being a portion of the block known as Muaupoko.
Bounded towards the North-east by other part of
Muaupoko; towards the South-east by Crown land;
towards the South-west and North-west by Te Nga-
rara Block: as delineated on a plan deposited in the
office of the Deputy Inspector of Surveys, Welling-
ton. This block has passed the Native Land Court.
KIRIKAU.
All that parcel of land in the Wanganui District,
in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing
by admeasurement 17,933 acres or thereabouts, known
by the name of Kirikau. Bounded on the North-
east by unsurveyed Native land known as Kawautahi;
on the South by the Rataruke Block; and on the
North-west by the Wanganui River: as delineated on
a plan deposited in the office of the Deputy Inspector
of Surveys, Wellington. This block has passed the
Native Land Court.
MAKETU-MURIMOTU.
All that parcel of land in the Wanganui District,
in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing by
estimation 5,000 acres or thereabouts, known by the
name of Maketu-Murimotu. Boundaries commenc-
ing at Koukoupo, thence to Parakaweka, Te Aaputa,
and on to Pihaua, on the Wangaehu River (this
is the north-east boundary); thence along the
Wangaehu River to Te Pou, thence in a southerly
direction to the southern side of the Pou-o-Maketu,
thence to the Maketu Stream, thence down the said
stream at Whakaironga, and thence to Koukoupo,
the starting point. This block has not passed the
Native Land Court.
KAITANGAWHENUA.
All that parcel of land in the Patea District, part
in the Provincial District of Wellington and part in
the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by
estimation 200,000 acres or thereabouts, known by
the name of Kaitangawhenua. Bounded on the South
by the confiscation line; on the East by the Waito-
tara River; on the North by the boundary of the
County of Patea; and on the West by the Whenua-
kura River. This block has not passed the Native
Land Court.
HUITOKI.
All that parcel of land in the Patea District, in
the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by
estimation 20,000 acres or thereabouts, known
by the name of Huitoki. Boundaries commencing
at Otauria, following the Makahu to Mangaehu;
turning seaward to Aratoetoe, to Ararimu, to Taiori,
to Makirikiri, to Ngaparieiki; turning towards a
mountain, going on to Pukehinau, to Mangapatei, to
Puapuanui; turning eastward to Karirihei, to Tura-
kirae, to Otauria. This block has not passed the
Native Land Court.
MATANGIURU.
All that parcel of land in the Patea District, in
the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by
estimation 30,000 acres or thereabouts. Boundaries
commencing at Kaitakoto, to Ohuera, to Whanga, to
Upokotahi, to Matangawha, to Matangiuru, to Te
Arahinau, to Ngapaiaka, to Te Wahihinau, to Tapapa,
to Te Tihi, to Owengaengae, to Te Aokawau, to Te
Aoapa, to Tuimomona, to Kaitakoto. This block has
not passed the Native Land Court.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twelfth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight.

VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
Queen.
TO JAMES DAY, Master of the brig "Star," of Bal-
timore, in the United States of America, now lying
in the Port of Wellington, in the Colony of New
Zealand; WALTER TURNBULL, of the City of
Wellington, in New Zealand, Merchant, trading
under the firm or style of "W. and G. Turnbull
and Co.;" and to CHARLES EFFINGHAM CAPPER, of
the City of Wellington, aforesaid, Clerk.
WHEREAS an action was, on this twelfth day of
October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight, commenced in our Supreme Court of
New Zealand, at the suit of Edward William Mills,
of the City of Wellington, Merchant, against Hein-
rich Hellmers, of Baltimore, aforesaid, Shipowner,
who is not within the said colony, wherein the said
plaintiff claims to recover from the defendant the
sum of one hundred and sixty-five pounds: And
whereas a copy of the writ in the said action and of
the declaration annexed thereto, together with an
affidavit verifying the matters contained in the said
declaration, and showing that the cause of action
arose in respect of the breach of a contract to be
partly performed in the said colony, and that the de-
fendant is not within the said colony, have been filed
in our said Court: And whereas we are informed that
you, the said James Day, and you, the said Walter
Turnbull and Charles Effingham Capper, respectively,
or some or one of you, now have respectively in your
charge or under your control certain property and
moneys belonging to the defendant, being the said brig
"Star" with the boats, tackle, furniture, and apparel of
the same, and moneys received and receivable by you,
or some or one of you, for freight or goods carried in
the said ship: Now we hereby command you and
each of you that, after the service of this writ upon
you, and until the same shall be dissolved, you do
not knowingly dispose of or part with any part of
the said property or moneys, excepting only to the
use of the plaintiff in this action.
