Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Woodville
Cemetery.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I,
George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Nor-
manby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint the several persons whose names
are specified in the first column of the Schedule
hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance
and care of the public cemetery specified in the
second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
Joseph Sowry. WOODVILLE CEMETERY.
Thomas Francis Fountain. All that parcel of land in the Provincial
John Bunyan Ross. District of Hawke's Bay, containing
John James Murphy. by admeasurement five (5) acres, more
David Hughes. or less, being part of Rural Section
numbered fourteen (14), Woodville,
Seventy-Mile Bush. Bounded on the
North by Section numbered fourteen
(14), four hundred and ninety-nine
(499) links; on the East by Section
numbered fourteen (14), one thousand
and twenty-two (1022) links; on the
South by the main road, five hundred
(500) links; and on the West by a road
line, nine hundred and eighty-five (985)
links; be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this first day of October, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight.

Robert King. OPOTIKI CEMETERY.
Campbell Thomson. All that parcel of land in the Provincial
Alexander Reid. District of Auckland, being portion of
Allotment numbered five (5) of Sub-
urban Allotments, Opotiki, Parish of
Waioeka, containing by admeasure-
ment five (5) acres two (2) roods and
ten (10) poles, more or less. Bounded
on the North by a road one hundred
links wide, one hundred and fifty (150)
links; towards the East by a road of
width aforesaid, one thousand four
hundred and fifty (1450) links; to-
wards the South by Allotment No. 6,
six hundred and seventy-two (672)
links; and towards the West by other
portion of Allotment No. 5, one thou-
sand three hundred and sixty-six
(1366) links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For the pur-
poses of a cemetery.

Land temporarily reserved in the Provincial District
of Taranaki.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Taranaki, described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.
