I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Serpentine Quartz Mining Com-
pany as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Company's Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be the Serpentine Quartz
Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at German Jack's Gully, Ser-
pentine, County of Maniototo. - The registered office of the Company will be situated at
Naseby, in the Provincial District of Otago. - The nominal capital of the Company is two thousand four
hundred pounds, in two hundred and forty shares of ten pounds
each. - The number of shares subscribed for is two hundred and
forty. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is one hundred and twenty
pounds. - The name of the Manager is Walter Inder.

- I am the Manager of the said intended Com-
pany. - The above statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the

General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

purpose of considering the Liquidator's accounts,
and, consequent upon the approval thereof, to pass
the following resolution: "That this meeting is of
opinion that the affairs of the Palmerston and Wai-
kouaiti Times Printing Company (Limited) have been
fairly wound up."
