Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the an-
nexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections
against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Ahaura, on or before
the 17th day of September, 1878.

Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Ahaura.

SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Allan K. Macdonald. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "Moon-
light Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods,
at head of right-hand branch Moonlight Creek, Grey,
in the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Applicant: Henry Watterson. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "Mona's
Isle Gold-Mining Company." 10 acres, No. 2 south
from Moonlight Company, Grey, in the Nelson South-
West Mining District.
