GREYMOUTH SECTION.
GREY GORGE BRIDGE.
The following charges will be made: For each head of cattle or horses, one
shilling (1s.); for each ton of goods, one shilling and sixpence (1s. 6d.); minimum
charge, sixpence (6d.).

PICTON SECTION.
Ships' goods of Classes A, B, C, D, to be carried on the Picton and Blenheim
Railway as Class B.

CHRISTCHURCH SECTION.
GRAIN.
Rate for freight of grain from Timaru and Washdyke Stations to Lyttelton
Station to be fourteen shillings (14s.) per ton.

WOOL.
Rate for freight of wool from Timaru and Washdyke Stations to Lyttelton
Station to be six shillings and sixpence (6s. 6d.) per bale of four (4) cwt.

SHIPS' GOODS.
From Lyttelton Station to Timaru Station. Weight or measurement according to
ship's bill of lading:β€”Coals, at per ton, eleven shillings (11s.). All other goods, at
per ton, twenty shillings (20s.).
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, booked between Lyttelton and Christchurch, will be
charged at five shillings and sixpence (5s. 6d.) per ton. In all other cases, goods of
Classes A, B, C, D, conveyed over the Lyttelton to Christchurch line, will be carried
thereon as Class B. Ships' goods carried according to bill of lading; other goods by
weight or measurement, as the Manager directs.

STORAGE RATES, LYTTELTON STATION.
CLASS E.
Β£ s. d.
For all goods under Class E not taken delivery of by the consignees within
five (5) working hours after arrival (to be kept in the railway wagons or
stored at the risk of the owner, and at the option of the General
Manager), for receiving and delivering to the ship and storage thereon,
for the first week or fraction of a week, at per ton or fraction of a ton... 0 3 0
For the second week or fraction thereof, an additional charge for storage
will be made, at per ton or fraction of a ton, of 0 0 6
After which, for each additional week or fraction of a week, for each ton
or fraction of a ton, the storage charge will be 0 0 2

GENERAL MERCHANDISE.
For all goods in Classes A, B, C, and D, not taken delivery of by con-
signees within five (5) working hours after arrival, the storage charges
will be, for each week or fraction of a week, at per ton (minimum
charge, 1s.) 0 2 0
When delivered to ship's side an additional charge for haulage will be
made, at the rate of, per ton (minimum charge, 6d.) 0 1 6

WOOL.
The charge for storage for wool not taken delivery of by consignees within
five (5) working hours after arrival will be, for each week or fraction of
a week, for each bale 0 1 0
When delivered to ship's side an additional charge for haulage will be
made, at the rate of, per ton 0 1 6

CLASS E.
For all goods under Class E, stored temporarily in the Gladstone Shed at Lyttelton
Station, for first week or fraction of a week, at per ton or fraction of a ton, sixpence
(6d.); after which, for each additional week or fraction of a week, for each ton or
fraction of a ton, twopence (2d.). Goods to be in shed at owners' risk, who will also
provide all labour necessary.

DUNEDIN SECTION.
Ships' goods from Port Chalmers to Dunedin to be carried as Class C.

WOOL.
The rate for the conveyance of wool from Waitabuna and Lawrence Stations to
Dunedin Station to be three shillings and elevenpence (3s. 11d.) per bale of four
(4) cwt.

INVERCARGILL SECTION.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, booked between the Bluff and Invercargill, will be
charged at nine shillings and fourpence (9s. 4d.) per ton. In all other cases, goods
of Classes A, B, C, D, conveyed over the Bluff to Invercargill line, will be carried
thereon as Class B. Ships' goods carried according to bill of lading; other goods by
weight or measurement, as the Manager directs.

SPECIAL RATE ON AMBERLEY TO BLUFF RAILWAY.
Terminal Charges.
In addition to the mileage rates, a terminal charge shall be made as follows:---
A charge of three shillings and ninepence (3s. 9d.) per ton upon goods of
Classes A, B, C, D, and E, consigned to Dunedin, Christchurch, and Invercargill (not
to private sidings).
A charge of two shillings and sixpence (2s. 6d.) per ton upon all goods of the
above classes consigned to all other stations, and to or from private sidings in the
above-named towns.
Subject to a deduction from the above charges of ninepence (9d.) per ton, upon
goods of Class E only, to or from private sidings at country stations.
This will make the terminal charge three shillings (3s.) per ton from private
sidings at country stations to Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill; and one
shilling and ninepence (1s. 9d.) per ton from private sidings at country stations to
private sidings at town and country stations.
