Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown, on or
before the 22nd day of August, 1878.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Queenstown.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: Henry Honncastle and Others. Style
under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Perseverance Gold-Mining Company." 8 acres, at
Duncan's Flat, Skipper's, in the Queenstown Mining
District.
Applicant: John Aspinall. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "The Skippers'
Falls." 10 acres, adjoining above, in the Queens-
town Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this twenty-

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels

under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one month after the date of the Gazette
containing this notice.
