Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicant specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to granting such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Riverton, on or before
the 23rd day of July, 1878.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Riverton.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Robert Erskine. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "Invercargill
Quartz-Mining Company." 400 yards by 200 yards,
at Longwood, in the Southland Mining District.
