Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicant specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
lodged with the Warden at Riverton, on or before
the 2nd day of July, 1878.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Riverton.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Thomas Morell Macdonald. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "Ala-
bama Quartz-Mining Company." 600 feet by 600
feet, in the Longwood Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this tenth
day of June, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-eight.
