LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one calendar month from the date of publica-
tion of this notice in the Gazette.

JOHN VON TUNZELMANN, of the City of
Nelson, Schoolmaster, Applicant.—1 rood 32 perches,
being part of Section 1117 on plan of the said city,
commencing at a point on the north-west side of
Kawia Street, the said point being 116 links south-
west of and distant from the easternmost corner of
the said section; thence North-east (116 links) to
the south-west side of Esk Street; thence North-west
along the south-west side of Esk Street (421 links);
thence South-west at an angle of 81° 24' along the
south-eastern boundary of Section 1116 a distance of
100 links; and from thence returning south-easterly
in a straight line to the commencing point. Also 14
perches, being part of said Section 1117, commencing
at a point on the north-west side of Kawia Street,
the said point being 130 links south-west of and
distant from the easternmost corner of said Section;
thence North-east along the north-west side of Kawia
Street (14 links); thence North-west along the south-
west boundary of the before-described piece of land
(420 links); thence South-west along the south-
eastern boundary of Section 1116 a distance of 30
links; and from thence returning south-easterly in

HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, of the City of
Nelson, Esquire, Applicant.—1 rood 23 perches,
being part of Section 1117 on plan of the said city.
Bounded towards South-east by Kawia Street
from a point distant 130 links south-west from the
easternmost corner of said Section 1117 to a point
distant 230 links in the same direction from the said
corner (100 links); towards the South-west by other
part of same Section 1117 (417 links); towards the
North-west by Section 1116 on said plan from a point
distant 221 links south-west from the northernmost
corner of said Section 1117 to a point distant in the
same direction 130 links from the said northernmost
corner (91 links); and towards the North-east by

Solicitor, and WILLIAM HADDOW, of the same
City, Corndealer, Applicants.—17 perches, being part
of Section 1038 on plan of the said city; bounded
North-west (40 feet) by the Waimea Road; North-
east (120 feet) by other part of same Section; South-
east (40 feet) and Southward (120 feet) by other
parts of same section. Also 4 perches, being part
of said Section 1038 adjoining the before-mentioned
piece of land, and having a frontage to Hampden
Street East of 10 feet, and running back thence in a
rectangular block 122 feet; bounded North-west
(122 feet) by other part of same section; South-west
(10 feet) by Hampden Street East; South-east (122
feet) by other part of same section; North-east (10
feet) by Section 1040 on said plan. Also 1 acre 2
roods, being Section 871 and part of Section 869 on
said plan; bounded North-eastward by Section 873
on said plan; South-eastward by Sections 870 and
872 on said plan; South-westward by other part of
said Section 869; North-westward by Vanguard
Street South. Also 1 acre 2 roods, being Section
868 and the south-western moiety of said Section
869 on said plan; bounded North-eastward by other
part of said Section 869; South-eastward by Sections
867 and 870 on said plan; South-westward by Block
E, No. 4, on plan of Wakatu District; North-west-

GEORGE THOMAS, of the City of Nelson, Cab
Proprietor, Applicant.—18 perches, being part of
Section 741 on plan of said city, having a frontage
to Vanguard Street of 38 feet, commencing at a point
measured 37 feet 9 inches from the south-east angle
of the said section, and extending back at right

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that MARGARET HAY-
WOOD, of Opoho, near Dunedin, in the Pro-
vincial District of Otago, Widow, claiming as Devisee
under the Will of ALFRED HAYWOOD, late of Opoho
aforesaid, Saddler, deceased, has made application to
the District Land Registrar of the District of Otago
to be registered as Proprietor in fee-simple of Allot-
ment numbered 33, Block I., on the plan of the said
Township of Opoho; and that the said Margaret
Haywood will be so registered as such proprietor
unless caveat be lodged at this office forbidding the
same within one calendar month from the date of the
publication of this notice.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that JANET PATER-
SON, of Pleasant Valley, Hawksbury, in the
Provincial District of Otago, Widow of WILLIAM
KEMP PATERSON, late of Pleasant Valley aforesaid,
Farmer, deceased, has made application to the Dis-
trict Land Registrar of the District of Otago, claiming
as Administratrix of the estate and effects of the said
William Kemp Paterson to be registered as Pro-
prietor in fee-simple as tenant in common of one
undivided moiety of Sections numbered respectively
36, 37, 43, and part of Section numbered 32, Block
II., on the map of the said Hawksbury District; and
that the said Janet Paterson will be so registered as
such proprietor unless caveat be lodged forbidding
the same within one calendar month from the date of
the publication of this notice.
