LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
A PPLICATION having been made, under section
97 of " The Land Transfer Act, 1870," to register
a Mortgage from THOMAS BOULD to WILLIAM
DONALD, of Suburban Sections 984 and 986, Town-
ship of Palmerston, and Town Sections 1110, 1152,
and 1159, Township of Bunnythorpe: Notice is
hereby given that such Mortgage will be registered,
and the production of the Land Revenue Receiver's
Receipts dispensed with, unless caveat forbidding
such registration be lodged on or before the 21st
day of June instant.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-
RACE
District of Arrowtown, 27th May, 1878.
To the Mining Registrar at Arrowtown of the Otago
Gold Fields Mining District, and all other persons
whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water for mining pur-
poses, commencing at a point in my dam which is
situated 143 yards, more or less, below the Mary-
borough machine site situate at Macetown, and termi-
nating at the distance of 190 yards from the said
dam.
The length of such race is 190 yards or there-
abouts, and its intended course is north and south.
The mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the
mean breadth is 3 feet, and it is proposed to divert
six Government heads of water.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
heretofore carried on by the undersigned as
Auctioneers, Stock, Station, and Commission Agents
in Invercargill, under the style or firm of "Martin,
Maitland, and Company," was this day dissolved by
mutual consent. All claims against the late firm are
requested to be sent to the offices, Esk Street, In-
vercargill, forthwith, and all amounts due are re-
quested to be paid at the said offices.
