Change of Purpose of Reserve.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Governor has approved, under the provisions of
the 148th section of "The Land Act, 1877," of the
intended change of purpose of the reserve specified
in the Schedule hereto.

Alterations and Additions to the Rates for the Con-
veyance, Delivery, and Storage of Goods, Parcels,
&c., on New Zealand Railways.

IN accordance with the By-laws for the New Zea-
land Railways, fixed by Order in Council, dated
the 17th day of April, 1877, the following alterations
and additions to the rates for the conveyance,
delivery, and storage of goods, parcels, &c., on
New Zealand Railways, are hereby declared to be
fixed, and shall come into force from the 11th day
of March, 1878 :-

TERMINAL CHARGE.

A terminal charge of three shillings and ninepence
(3s. 9d.) will be made at Dunedin, Christchurch,
and Invercargill Stations, on goods of Classes A, B,
C, D, and E., in lieu of the present terminal charge
of two shillings and sixpence (2s. 6d.)

POTATOES.

The charge for weighing potatoes will be at the
rate of one halfpenny (½d.) per cwt., in lieu of the
present charge of one penny (1d.)
